My name is Andrea Caballero (Señora Caballero) and I am a Spanish Teacher at YSCP. I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, and I moved to State College in 2021.

The most important thing for me as a teacher is to take into account my student's needs and that is why I adapt my lessons to them. Also, I based my classes on comprehensible input using similar words to help them understand and feel more confident with their Spanish level. 
I love to create active lessons and encourage my students to develop their inquiry towards the Spanish language. As an IB educator, I like to show connections between the Spanish language, their daily life, and their community.  I also like to present and show my culture and the Hispanic tradition as evidence that we live in a diverse world.
